Serving with Empathy and Excellence

A Safe Bridge From Crisis to Stability

The Fortress Outreach is committed to empowering the transient community, survivors of human trafficking, and individuals in the sex work population who are ready to pursue a new path in life. Through compassionate support and comprehensive resources, we strive to help vulnerable individuals reintegrate into society by providing access to legitimate employment and career opportunities, education, transportation, nutritious food, safe housing, healthcare, and spiritual guidance. Our mission is to restore dignity, inspire hope, and create lasting pathways toward stability, independence, and purpose.

The Fortress Outreach

The Fortress Outreach helps transient communities, survivors of human trafficking, and survivors of sexual exploitation access essential resources, safe support, and a pathway toward lasting stability.

Helping People Find Safety, Support, and a New Beginning

The Fortress Outreach meets people at critical turning points when a healthy meal, transportation access, housing guidance, mentorship, or spiritual encouragement can become the first step toward a better future.

Transient Communities Living in Motels

We provide support for individuals and families residing in motels by offering fresh, healthy food and practical assistance that helps them move toward more stable living conditions. When permanent housing is approved, support may include first month rent and security deposit assistance.

individuals rebuilding their lives

We mentor survivors of human trafficking and individuals transitioning out of the adult entertainment industry by connecting them with safe housing, healthy food, healthcare resources, education pathways, career support, transportation, and spiritual care.

Housing Instability

Homelessness in Gwinnett County is often an unseen crisis. Many residents believe it is not a significant issue because it is largely hidden from public view. What many do not realize is that extended-stay hotels have become temporary homes for countless individuals and families experiencing housing instability.

These long-term residents often pay daily or weekly rates that can exceed $500 per week—far more than the cost of traditional housing. Despite these high costs, they have little to no tenant protections. When a resident is unable to make a payment, they can be asked to leave immediately, often with law enforcement assistance, leaving them and their belongings without a safe place to go.

Unseen homelessness is one of the fastest-growing yet least visible consequences of America’s housing crisis. Across our communities, extended-stay hotels have become temporary homes for individuals and families experiencing housing instability. Despite paying costly daily or weekly rates, many residents have few tenant protections and can be forced to leave immediately if they fall behind on payments, often with nowhere safe to go.

The Fortress Outreach is committed to breaking this cycle of housing insecurity by helping individuals and families transition from temporary shelter to stable, permanent housing. Through our housing assistance program, we provide qualified applicants with support for first month’s rent and security deposits, removing financial barriers and creating pathways to long-term stability, self-sufficiency, and hope.

Atlanta is recognized

As a major transportation and entertainment hub, making it a critical crossroads for individuals vulnerable to exploitation and human trafficking. With its extensive network of highways, public transportation systems, and one of the world’s busiest airports, many survivors pass through our community seeking safety, stability, and a path forward.

The Fortress Outreach is committed to disrupting the cycle of exploitation by providing comprehensive support and re-entry services for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our holistic program is designed to address the immediate and long-term needs of those ready to rebuild their lives.
We provide access to safe housing, transportation, nutritious meals, educational opportunities, career development, healthcare services, and spiritual support. Through these resources, we empower survivors to heal, regain independence, and create sustainable futures for themselves and their families.

At The Fortress Outreach

We believe every survivor deserves more than recovery—they deserve the opportunity to thrive.

Restoring Dignity Through Practical Help and Spiritual Hope

To provide a bridge from crisis to stability for the transient community, survivors of human trafficking, and adult entertainment workers by delivering essential housing, healthcare, career development, and spiritual resources.

Stability often begins with one practical step: a healthy meal, a ride to an appointment, a safe housing connection, a resume, a healthcare referral, or a trusted person who listens.

The Fortress Outreach exists to walk alongside people with compassion and structure. We help meet immediate needs while supporting long-term restoration through housing assistance, food support, education, career readiness, healthcare connections, mentorship, and spiritual encouragement.
